They remain the best second half team in the Majors over the last 4 <br>years, as they are now a remarkable 217-105, 67.4% in their last 312 <br>post-All-Star games. It gets even better as Oakland is a PERFECT 12-0 in <br>the last 12 games started by Danny Haren! This will be the first career <br>start for Haren vs. Minnesota, which should be to his advantage.<br><br>One has to question the psyche of this Twins team right now. The AL <br>Central favorites entering the season have lost 9 of their last 11 games, <br>lost All-Star Torii Hunter over the weekend, and lost with their ace on <br>the mound last night in what might have been their best chance to win a <br>game in this series. Joe Mays looks like a shell of the good pitcher he <br>was before his arm injury, and he is winless with a robust 8.10 ERA and <br>1.62 WHIP over his last 3 starts.
