I played UAE, regretting it now since it's prob fixed.
They're still mathematically alive, but it's all but over for them. I had it UAE +.5 as a coin flip pretty much without taking any motivation into account.

Missed the boat on the US game, should have played it a day or two ago when the line was still undervaluing us. I hate myself for going back to the well on the Netherlands, but figure I'll give them another chance to disappoint me this cycle. And for the love of God, please act like you care on Friday night, Costa Rica.

When checking the concacaf lines out of curiosity yesterday this was the one that didn't make sense to me either. My guess was that lack of motivation was the reason except I know CR called in a strong squad so I would like to believe that means they're not mailing it in.
As an aside, not sure when you switched your avatar but I guess I get full blame now if the US doesn't come through.

As much as I love Pulisic, I've got an even bigger man-crush on Barkley right now, so had to change it (at least until the 5-11 NY Giants draft him in May and I'm forced to start rooting against him).
Costa Rica -.5 Honduras (-126) 1.26 units to win 1 unit
Postponed to Saturday due to the storm, so it's no action. I thought about playing it again (it's at -120 now), but it's increasingly likely that they could be all but locked into a World Cup spot, in which case I question how seriously they'll take this one.
You left the full team alone just so you could jinx the kids? Nice job.
Guess you haven't learned yet that Josh Sargent is unjinxable...if things go well enough the next few weeks, he'll be right up there with Saquon Barkley in my book. I couldn't have been more excited for his future after the u20s this summer (meaning he joins Stu Holden, Josh Gatt, and Rubio Rubin).
I know everyone raves about Sargent and I saw all his recent U20 and U17 matches (qualifying and U20 WC) and saw the goals, some of which were special, but for some reason he didn't jump out at me as the stud prospect people far smarter than me see him as. And ofc I mean soccer coaches/analysts, not you.
Clearly I'm missing something. Hope this tourney brings me around.
