Hedging Washington future bet in CFB

Scenario
Have Washington at 40-1, to win. If it is the final game it's easy. But what about with two to play. Alabama is such a big favorite and 9-1 on the money line. I see no sane way (especially since I think Bama wins the game) to hedge, any creative ideas.

    I had Bella 15-1 in hongkong, wish I could have hedged, blew a 5 shot lead

    Not after each individual round. The Aussie had'em after the 3rd round.

    he chilli dip twice and tried to split trees that was impossible fit. the layup on 18 sunday bother me too.

    40-1 is nice price and all, but reality is not much equity as you think

    Yeah fivedimes has Washington to not win title at -2250, so not much profit if you hedge out.
