Trifecta Box Help

A buddy sent me a $1 7 horse trifecta box for the Kentucky Derby (Race 12) and I passed it on to my local for him. He took these horses:

2,3,5,10,11,13,15

Just curious if anybody knows an easy way to calculate how much he won or lost? I don't have a clue about these types of things and figured someone here would. Thanks for any help you guys can provide.

    Since he boxed it, n = number of horses. n * (n -1 ) * (n-2) will give you the number of combinations. $210. The $1 Tri paid 86.70.
