Lol. This field is terrible, not real surprising for cuba though. Neither pinny nor sbo even has this live.
They talked about it in the first half. They have no water, so it's just natural and condition comes down to the weather. Also don't have any showers, so team has to dress and shower at the hotel.
CONCACAF officiating is such garbage. Granted this is just a friendly and meaningless at the end of the day, but...that's one of the worst non-calls that I've ever seen at any level of soccer.
Didn't comment yesterday b/c I was DVRing it for later.
That field ranked up there with one of the worst I've seen. It made me miss the cricket fields they play on in the Caribbean.
The Birnbaum non-call was just as atrocious.
After 5-10 mins I was mostly rooting for no one to get hurt. Horrible game that I can't see helping the US in any manner going forward. Green looked good and Wondo had a signature put-back and a nice assist (not that I care about Wondo). Overall, I see the game as close to a total waste (at least it got Tommy a 2H win).
Didn't plan on getting involved, but this lineup for the US could struggle tonight against an opponent that put out much more of a first choice squad.
Could almost re-post my US/Cuba comments minus the field and Wondo. Weird lineup (Yedlin up top?) and lackluster effort.
Again, I see this game as a waste and don't see how it helps prepare us the for the hex (although with all the guys sent back to their clubs, it wasn't going to be much of a prep anyway).
Happy to say "at least it got Tommy a win" again though.
Colombia -.5 Chile (-112) 2.24 units to win 2 units
Uruguay -1.5 Ecuador (+185) 1 unit to win 1.85 units
Brazil E, -.5 Argentina (-124) 1.24 units to win 1 unit
Montenegro -.5 Armenia (+119) 1.5 units to win 1.785 units
Poland/Romania over 2 (-121) 1.21 units to win 1 unit
Slovakia -1, -1.5 Lithuania (-110) 1.1 units to win 1 unit
Northern Ireland -1 Azerbaijan (+119) 2 units to win 2.38 units
Honduras -.5 Panama (-110) 2.2 units to win 2 units
Trinidad & Tobago +.5 Costa Rica (+130) 1 unit to win 1.3 units
USA E Mexico (-116) 1.16 units to win 1 unit
Game-time temp of 44 with a "feels like" of 38 in Columbus (and it'll only drop as the game moves along), and $ keeps coming in on Mexico. I'm a little surprised. Mexico is better than us on paper right now, but this is a tough spot for them when factoring in the intangibles.
It's really surprising to me. They are obviously the better team on paper tonight, but Columbus has been a fortress and the forecast keeps getting colder. Although if we put Alan Gordon on the field, that might neutralize all of our advantages.

Peru +.5 Bolivia (-146) 1.46 units to win 1 unit
Tomorrow (Friday)...
USA/St Vincent and Grenadines under 4.5 (-121) 1.21 units to win 1 unit
Canada/Honduras under 2, 2.5 (-118) 1.18 units to win 1 unit
USA/Cuba under 2.5 (+105) 1 unit to win 1.05 units
Absolutely brutal. Field is shit, and the US looks like they have no desire to be there. Cuba actually had the better of the chances.
And miss out on Wondo?

Was waiting for it.
I'm surprised at the $ pouring onto Mexico.
