More gambling including the online variety which will soon be online poker within states that agree to work with each other is a good thing IMO. The more gambling there is the less stigma there is surrounding it.
That being said I dont expect sports gambling to be legal any time soon. PAPSA will need to be overturned and I just don't see the forces aligning for that even if sports betting is now at 1% on the radar (states introducing bills at state level and NJ introducing PAPSA adjustment laws at congressional level which will never be passed or even voted on ) then when it was 0% a few years ago.
I agree and even if it was legal in jersey.... I think the sports betting part would only be parlays and teasers. Also who wants to drive to the meadowlands to place that type of wager. Just my 2 cents.
