To call a college football game than Joey Galloway and Beth Mowins?
It is almost like they say the exact opposite of what any strategic sports fan or gambler would ever think.
ULL settles for a chip shot FG attempt at the EC 8 yard line on a 3rd and 3 because
A) The play call was conservative and pathetic and
The QB chose the wrong option on the option read and
C) The QB fell down when trying to run it up the middle.
So ULL goes up 6 with 3mins left instead of having a chance to go up 2 scores and essentially end the game....what does Galloway say?:
"Doesn't matter, all you want to do here is guarantee points. You take these easy 3 and make EC have to score a TD to beat you."
And this was just the icing on the cake, there were too many numerous mind numbing statements made during this telecast to list.
