    OMG Of course I didn't know the man personally but from what you hear and see he was special. My condolences to his loved ones and RIP

    What a world we live in, young man takes his own life and his girlfriends, and Rick dies at 64 fighting for his life. Just terrible.

    Agreed on one of the greatest men to live...took off time to be with his mother...was a cheeseburger waiting to happen but one one of the great guys ever in the sport...it was only time when his time will come but still too soon...RIP Rick

    Great article/eulogy if you have not read it already: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/8700759/rick-majerus-gave-heart-help-college-basketball as a Rebel fan he gets the utmost respect as a coach and person, when he was with Utah he was always a thorn in UNLV's side, but what most won't realize is that it was his Ball St. squad that he left after '89 that came the closest to upsetting the Rebs during their run on their way to the nat'l champ. in '90. In interviews the team says that game was the closest to ending their run, even though Hunsaker was the coach...it was Majerus' team. RIP Big Guy -R
