I know who I am voting for.....he is against gambling..

Finally, McCain wants to eliminate what he sees as the most troubling aspects of legalized gambling in the United States. He has led the fight to ban gambling on college sports, a battle the Nevada casinos have won (so far), in part by suggesting that he would make Super Bowl and NCAA pools illegal. (He wouldn't, since they are zero-sum games, not for-profit enterprises.) And McCain would ban Internet gambling -- not because it's addictive, but because players typically have no way of knowing whether they are in fair games.

Since Reagan nd NAFTA, each new republican administration has taken rights from the American people. McCain will take away gambling. When the comes to make America a communist nation, it will be too late to stop them.

The Democrat is the lesser evil.

You guys have a lot to learn about McCain. His anti gambling stance was a brain fart he shared and brought along with his buddy from Utah, Moron Hatch. It is no coincidence their states just happen to border Nevada. Surprise! Surprise! Meanwhile not one word of objection to Indian casinos or state lotteries, major rip offs of the citizens of his own state. As for the integrity angle, he never listened to those that explained it is Las Vegas that usually tips off the FBI to "unusual betting patterns" as in College Fixes. Further, McCain is one of the biggest proponents of "immigrant" (read cheap) labor you will ever see and probably the only border state US Senator in favor of amnesty for illegals. There is much you need to know about this ex prisoner of war, super patriot that does not meet the eye. I will take any combination of Huckabee, Obama and Clinton before McCain, and that's comin from Arizona, friends.

Anyone that votes for Hilary needs to have their head checked. Big government is going to rule your lives if that bitch gets in. If you really think she is going to let gambling slip through you better think again. NO ONE that is running is out to help any of us!!! Obama may be the safest choice, and even that isn't good. We need someone who is not a billionaire, and not a lawyer of some sort. Since that isn't going to happen, vote for who you think is the best overall, not just on one topic.

Obama doesn't give two shits about gambling...

Hilary is a flip floping whore that can't even satisfy her husband. I'm sorry but we need a strong person to be a president, staying with your husband because he's always cheated on you from day one doesn't cut it for me.

Also Hilary has the lines at the corner of her mouth. The old people thing... Just imagine how that would be 8 years from now if she gets elected... omg thats one ugly biatch.

Obama will make the most of the office and do the most to effect change.

I'm so sick of these political threads. Ban gambling on the internets and such? Will never happen. And you guys want to vote for someone who wants raise taxes so everyone that doesn't have healthcare, has it. Screw that. Why should I pay for something someone else else wants. That is un american and I think it is bullshit.

Basing our new leader on whether they will ban gambling or not, tells me a lot about some of the people that post here..that's all I got to say..

Skip the thread if you don't like it, and if Hillary is going to be ugly, you Republicans oughta love it, after all, Margaret Thatcher was the textbook example of ugly, but she was "Reagan's Girl" and got all the American love she could handle. F**k it, this ain't the time or place for politics so Good Night and Good Luck to all.

Truth. Though I suppose one's stance on this item does reflect one's values. Still waiting for this 2-party system to be over with.

agree Greg that would be nuts. Problem is we dont have any real good options. Its Mccain or Obama. Id vote for Root, can you imagine how entertaining that would be. He would call the senate and be like i got lock piece of legislation and then when it didnt pass hed say he has some bail out amendments that would make it pass. I loved him as a presidential candidate. Root 2008!!!

yea all those who say vote for hillary are literally retarded. they fall way below the average IQ mean. socialist c**t is what she is.

Vote for her if you want your doctors to be dipshits from now on. if doctor's don't get paid the big bucks no one is gonna wanna become one. you take away health insurance and every doctor will get paid diddly. in all honesty, the health insurance companies are already taking away bits and pieces of a doctor's income. don't need some slut in the white house doing it too. she's a dumbass and all those who vote for her are dumb too :)

p.s. there's no way any president bans internet gambling. the US government has bigger fish to fry...like the New England Patriots video taping pre-game signals and Steroids in Baseball. Clearly those are more important than war, terror, poverty, aids, butt sex, and murders and shit.

Sad but true....31 flavors of ice cream but only 2 political parties

you guys argue amongst yourselves as if there is a difference between old rich white guy, old rich white woman, and not quite middle aged rich black guy....

    wake the fuck up

business and money make and break laws, not politicians...and money wins elections..

Jerry Doyle rules....he played a montage of all the 'big' companies and industries Hillary says she is going to attack in her speeches, and then he read whom those targets were making their largest campaign contributions to....damn right, Mrs. Clinton

Washington and Hollywood are the same thing. Hollow, shallow, empty vessels living in an altered reality

Its sad to say but we have no real leadership in america....these choices that we have to choose from makes me not want to vote...I wish someone worth voting for will stand up and run as and independent that is a real leader..this is one of the most important elections in our history and yet we have no real leader to choose from

The problem is not that we don't have leaders, the problem is our leaders are more interested in making money (short term) or surrending to big money (long term) than doing what is right for the country.

The bigger problem is what it eventually does to the little guys like you and me. For instance, big money in Vegas wants the offshore market and McCain is likely to surrender it to them and stuff his pockets in the process. Therefore, McCain will trade our right to gamble online for cash.

This is common for any republican politician. Bush has been feeding on money out of Israel and Saudi Arabia. That is why he is more interested in attacking Iraq, that he was about going after Osama. No one is paying Bush to go after Osama, and so we went after Saddam instead.

You guys on this board need to take a look at the big picture. Not what the next president is going to cost you in tax dollars, but what the next president is going to cost you. Then maybe you will see that the democrat is, by far, the lesser evil and there is no question about who you should vote for...

Very interesting. I don't come here to discuss the merits of Stratocaster vs Les Paul, or the merits of pushing on the turn with an inside straight draw, or the difference between a naturally aspirated Hemi compared to the new Mopar injection standards. I come here to read and discuss gaming insights. I guess the value of this thread is to help me handicap the presidential election. If so, I will make Obama a 3 to 2 fav with a parlay on Obama/Edwards being the dem ticket. Any takers?
