A way to gamble online semi-anonymously. The site where you cash the bitcoins into dollars knows your real life info. But the sites you are gambling on have no clue.
You do have to post the money up front, but some sites mentioned in here allow you to get down on the RAS numbers or various other services
Coinbase made me full out some strange questionnaire today about what i use bitcoin for. Said I day traded them.
I just got zapped at both places and shut down completely for large incoming amounts.
Scum Govt. in this country.

Hi XXXXXX
I regret to inform you that after a careful review of your account, XXXX will not be able to offer you service.
As a federally regulated money service business, we are subject to the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. Gambling on our platform is outlined as prohibited in the ''Restricted Activities" sections of our User Agreement (sections 17 and 18).
Per Section 6 of the Agreement, the funds remaining in your account can be withdrawn to a linked fiat account before it is closed. Please withdraw your funds within two weeks of this notification. After two weeks, they will be inaccessible without contacting customer support.
Thanks for the heads up. Curious though, if you don't mind, how many transactions have you been having each month? I have been limiting it to 2 (usually under $2,500) and haven't had an issue. Yet. I like using Bitcoin though. Less fees than WU and easier to deal with.
I don't want to get into # specifics on here but it was high. In reality no withdrawal method is safe, they can all be traced.
Getting MO or checks when coming from CR, Panama or any of those countries is also bad, because Customs opens those envelopes and re-seals them.
There's not really many other options out there. I got flagged by WU and MG now and like you said checks take too long and also risk being opened let alone walking into a farmers mutual in Iowa with a check from China raises a few red flags. Only thing I enjoy doing is coaching, my full time gig sucks bc I'm stuck dealing with lazy employees. Where do I sign up to become a runner?

Brutal, but I have to imagine that they got you some other way, because sending to an intermediary wallet or tumbler would almost certainly make it impossible for them to identify you.
Depending on where you are located, it can be quite lucrative to build a network of contacts for trading btc. Don't do it in New York State, because you may face prosecution, but otherwise you should be good, using localbitcoins or finding local ATMs which are popping up in more and more cities nationwide.
All signs point to this trend increasing. As Jefferson said, "Give me control of a nation's money, and I care not who makes its laws." That's obviously what's happening today, and it makes sense (to me at least) because the lawmakers want money, so they will be subject to those machinations. If people take back control of the money, via decentralized currency, the sky is the limit. Anyone here who has had their freedom (to gamble with their own money how they choose) affected, realize that voting with your money has a lot bigger effect than voting in "free elections"
They send me questioners to fill out in the beginning for the incoming amounts. When they didn't like my answer, they send me back the email I pasted above.
Circle has stopped allowing customer to buy bitcoins. What are you guys using to buy bitcoins these days? I'm trying to stay away from coinbase just because i heard they gave gamblers a hard time.
My previous method was
buy bitcoin thru circle, send to my blockchain, blockchain to gambling site.

Blockchain is the technology upon which the bitcoin infrastructure operates...... maybe you meant somethining else here?
Ive tried setting up so many different options to help with making deposits and withdrawls and have had zero luck. I know this isnt bc I'm in the US bc most all of you are as well.
Someone please tell me the easiest way to do this?
The easiest way is to link your bank to Coinbase. You can buy/sell via Coinbase. I would use either Bread Wallet (iOS) or Mycelium (Android) as an intermediary between all transactions. For example, buy bitcoins on Coinbase, transfer to Bread Wallet/Mycelium, transfer from Bread Wallet/Mycelium to sportsbook. Or reverse for payouts.
You can pay less in fees when buying/selling bitcoins if you use GDAX instead of Coinbase, but it's slightly more complicated.
Best bitcoin bookmaker for bet at the moment is Nitrogen Sports.
I would disagree. You must be a shill for Nitrogen. They continually cancel wagers bc of "Bad Lines." Even though in all 3 instances I had this happen to me I provided proof that the lines were very close to 5dimes. I'd recommend people stick with a reputible site like 5dimes and just make your deposit via BC. It may be instant in Nitro but 5dimes had my BC transfer available in my account within 10 minutes. Nitro also does not allow you to have multiple plays on same game in a parlay. One of many reason's why your statement is completely false.
What someone needs to do is to start a site that uses BC only similar to Nitro that keeps it 100% anonymous and let you do peer to peer wagering. Post a play you like, put up the amount of BC you want on that play and let someone else play the otherside if they're interested. Charge a very minimal amount of juice to the losing player only that the house (site managers) keep. Just my 2 cents
I do think its neat what Nitrogen does with their parlay jackpots. I dont bet more than $100 on a game and I'll typically put in a $5 or $10 parlay every so often so it's nice to be able to get a return on losing an 8 teamer on the last leg. It's fun to look at the heavyweight leaderboard. Some of those fellas lost parlays that wouldve paid 10, 20, 30k all on the final leg or two. Winning the heavyweight leaderboard nets you $2700 or whatever so that's a nice little payout. Granted, those guys are likely betting more than $5 parlays.
Totally new to this bitcoin stuff-- and need help. After the recent 5Dimes fiasco, I'm ready to give it a try. The way I'm reading all this-- buy the bitcoin using coinbase.com and then send to an intermediate wallet. Here's where I'm having trouble-- have read bad stuff about blockchain.info-- so who to use? I don't have smart phone, so am using desktop only. Also, does anybody know anything about bitquick.co?(which is a Colombian domain if I'm not mistaken) It's recommended by 5Dimes.
Any help for an old fart who was using only fingers and toes for math until recently will be appreciated.
I've never had an issue with blockchain (and I've used it as recently as late last week). That's all that I've ever used to move directly to/from books.

I have had no problems with blockchain. My money is only in blockchain for 5 min at the most.
1. Fund coinbase
2. Wait
3. Wait(they're slow)
4. Money in coinbase, get BTC address from book
5. Transfer coinbase to blockchain
6. Transfer blockchain to book

Can you give examples? Nitrogen uses the same lines as Pinnacle.

No, I was using wallets and tumblers

There had previously been no deposit fees.
