Well, my story is not all that impressive, but I got what I wanted...
Been a customer since 2008. I called in and said "Disconnect" at main menu. Guy came on and asked how he could help. I told him I was going to Dish because they offer the Red Zone channel as a stand alone channel. I explained that I had Sunday Ticket in the past, but it's too expensive now and all I watch on Sunday is Red Zone. He punched something into the computer and said since I was a good customer I could have the channel free for the year. Short and sweet and all I really was after.
Exact same story for me as far as Redzone goes.... It was all I asked for and I got it. I did also mention that Dish would be cheaper even after the early termination fees and so they took some $$ off my bill for a few months too.
