Don't see anyone even sniffing Big Brown. Felt the same away about the Derby. I don't know that the horse is going to be an all-time great, but it is a good horse and I think the rest of the 3 year old lot leaves much to be desired. That combination makes it seem like it is a great horse.

I am putting on top of several tri-tickets and probably a few supers too.
At 1/2 exactas won't pay much.
The only way to get value with him keying him over a few 30-1's!

Good luck.

Do not waste your money.

BIG BROWN wins easy

Keep an eye on the Belmont Stakes when Brown wins the Preakness.

LOOK OUT for Casino Run.

I hope he is a 10 or 15-1 for the Belmont, check out this link. My Dad is a huge horse racing fan. He says this horse is bred for the 1 1/2 mile.

You heard it hear first

I am hoping people buy into the hype so that I can get Big Brown in that one at a decent price. That would be like taking candy from a baby.

I don't know crap about betting on horse racing, but I'm heading out to a casino this weekend and they are comping me also giving me some "preakness package". I'll be willing to lay a few hundred...I hear all this talk on Big Brown..what's the best way to lay my money? 1 or 2 bets?

Thanks

So far I like exacta and tri boxing: 4-7-12-13. I also like the tri wheel: 7 over the 1-4-12-13-3.

I think Gayego runs a much better race here. Icabad Crane is the only horse to run over the Pimlico suface.

If you get Casino Drive at 15-1 in the Belmont I will drive up to Belmont and bet every dollar I own on him. If Big Brown wins Saturday he will be 1-5 in the Belmont followed by Casino Drive at about 8-1 then Denis of Cork at 10-1 and the others no matter who they are shouldnt be under 50-1. If Big Brown loses on Saturday there is no way he runs in the Belmont then Casino Drive will be your favorite in the Belmont

Big Brown might go down as a good horse, But not as one of the greatest unless he wins the triple crown, it has allready been stated that he too will be retired after his 3 YO campaign, Which is the trend lately, If he is this good, would love to see him run for a few years, even if it is spartic!

Yankee Bravo, I believe this horse is ready for a rebound after a terrible SA Derby!

Zhp2m3 I do not want to come off as a know it all but I think you have it all wrong. What I take from the posts is that Kevin Garnet will ride in the Preakness on Big Brown making it Big Black on Big Brown to win by a neck....Garnet sticking his head out at the finish line and taking advantage of his length so that the other midget and malnourished jockies will be beat by a neck.

Hope this simplifies the strategy,

ahhh...my bad. The whole time I was thinking Hector Camacho on macho again, but since he's still reeling from his burglary charges last year I would think Danica on racecar rhapsody would be a sure winner but hell she couldnt even drive her last ride without hitting something and then I was thinking about Barkley on casino drive but who the hell wants to put their $$cash$$ on someone that hasn't paid their $400k debt? Thanks..it's all clear now.
