1979, graduated high school in 1981. am 46 now. Overall it has been a blast and have met a lot of interesting people...most of them that do not know a thing about the sportsbook...but think they do.

since sophomore year of high school (1996) i let this idiot pick nfl games that we agreed were tossups.. i let him pick the teams and he'd always lose it was awesome.. never got serious til freshman year college (u of illinois) when a guy down the hall in my dorm decided to be a bookie and we all started with small bets that gradually got crazier.. only me and one other guy lasted the whole year betting although i was definitely down in the end, but nothin crazy... couldn't understand why the obvious team never pulled (hmmm, very interesting, note to self)... i tend to look for trap games whenever making big plays now.. games where team is set up to fail, there's a mysterious line, or team due for a letdown.. later on in college me and a buddy gambled through a bookie on the same account.. good old double down theory, you can't lose 10 in a row can you?? ... my buddy got on tilt one saturday where there's a million college bball games and lost thousands he didn't have.... his dad bailed him out of the mess but i was freakin out for a bit cause we were both responsible... i'm 27 now and still love the action, now i ride the hot streak out and play hard when i'm winnin, and when on a bad streak i step away for a bit and watch the plays i would have lost on lose... you can't bet when on tilt, or lately i'll follow someone who's on fire (thx all of you who are good for those hot streaks here and there)... wish i would have learned that a long time ago.. let's have a profitable 2008

Do you know what a dinasour is??? Well it's me. I don't post much but lurk here every day to spot some fine cappers. Guys I started booking numbers for pennies in Jr. high school wayyyyy back in the early 40's. I will be 77 come March, and I can remember when a tout was somthing of a gift starting in the early 50's. There were very few of them and the and were well respected "Wise Guys" not like today.We got our scores on a western union ticker tape, and the books wouldn't put out a line in baskets until about an hour before the game.No money lines and you had to lay $12 to win 10.It was like ancient times way back then, and every one should be grateful for a forum like this to help every one with the latest news on inj,and the latest scoop on team players.Wishing every one a great year in 2008, and again thnx for the great forum. Been doing as long as I can remember... Im Chinese and every Chinese New Year its mandatory that we gamble, its a ongoing tradition...its in our blood. Can't wait New Years is a little over a month away!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
