Sucker Bet Saturday College Football

I think this game be classified as a Sucker Bet and Trap game if there is a difference, VIrginia coming off the win over Maryland with a late 4th quater TD to win, now they are going into NC ST, who is 2-5 and 0-3 in Confrence play but yet the line is only 3 points, also added to the Mix is people will see Virgnia in the top 25 against a weak oppenent with a low line of 3 and will jump all over them. I dont know if Virginia will "overlook" this game with Wake next weak but I dont think they are thinking they can lose. If it looks to good to be true, 9 out of 10 times it is. Take the home dog, NC ST +3 and I only see the line going up from here, also about 85% of the money is on Virginia (At 1 online sportsbook) We shall see how that money shifts by saturday.... Throwing it out early, any comments are welcome. I look at these games from a gambling stand point, i dont have the time to look at each game for injuries or other such factors, early on i look at these games for spot gambling oppurtunites where the line looks fishy with a lot of public money on one side.....

Have a good day!

I like it. Now let me throw another out. Nebraska has been beat like a step child. They go to Texas and everyone thinks they will get rolled again. This is a game where the Huskers are trying to find themselves and I look for this game to go to the wire. I am a huge Texas fan and see this as a bad spot. I would take the 21 pts and maybe even play the moneyline.

please dont be fooled into believing that.... I live here and I love NC state like I love my own family but they are horrible. They beat up on ECU last week but that team is a high school team compared to Virginia. State had the best running game in the ACC coming into this year with Baker and Brown but both have recently been lost for the season and the QB situation is a mess. They have only beaten 1 division one school since early last year and that was ECU last weekend. Cavs are fighting for a good bowl game and first year coach Tom Obrien is still experimenting with players to see what he will have next year to try and turn this thing around. Cavs will win this game by 14.

I agree with you here ACC. The line is a little short, but that is only because Virginia has trouble scoring. Their defense is as solid as there is, and they will have good field position all day.

Thanks for the response ACCguru, Like i said, I was looking at this game as a situational bet, I havent gotten into injuries and suspensions, rookie qb getting the start or anything of that sort yet, its only thursday today, I just try to find a handful of games to go into that research for saturday. This game just stood out to me the most, as a sucker bet becuase of the extremely fishy line! I will deffinltly go into further research.

Am a Virginia fan, yet will only play the ML, don't trust this team with any points.

Will be interesting to see if this Simpson kid is real. UVa was getting it together when Cedric Peerman went down. Sewell only seems to play when a miracle is needed. The defense is stout, and can be backed if the offense doesn't turn over and put them in too many tight spots.

    Regards,

There it is.... Another upset winner! NC ST like i said an extremely fishy line that probally had 80%+ on Virginia, and NC ST wins the game outright by 5, College has been fantastic for underdogs this year! Im sure there were some others, like S. Florida today that stood out to people but a lot when with the #11 team against a UCONN team...... See what other top 25 teams go down tonight.... Ohio St???????
