Fantasy Feud becomes the latest DFS site to add NASCAR to its list of sports offerings

Last week, DraftKings partnered with NASCAR and became the first—and only—Daily Fantasy site offering the sport to its customers.

Now, the DFS giant has company.

Fantasy Feud, based in Canada, announced today that it will begin offering NASCAR starting with Sunday’s Coca-Cola 600 race. The site intends to offer both Salary Cap and Pick ‘Em contests for all future events.

A Fantasy Feud rep indicated that the decision to offer NASCAR wasn’t necessarily a reaction to DraftKings entering the space.

“This is something that has been brewing for months,” the rep told DFT.

Fantasy Feud’s version of fantasy NASCAR is similar to DraftKings’ game, but does have two notable differences.

  • On DraftKings, players choose five drivers; whereas on Fantasy Feud, you choose six.
  • DraftKings awards points for fastest laps; Fantasy Feud does not.

In addition to NASCAR, Fantasy Feud also offers the four major sports (NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL), college football and basketball, PGA Tour and National LaCrosse League.

The site isn’t nearly as popular as the big two—FanDuel and DraftKings—and lags behind a few others, such as DraftDay and FantasyAces. However, in our recent DFS site popularity rankings, Fantasy Feud ranked 7th (out of 21), and moves like this should help it gain more foothold as it targets new demographics.
