Superstitions!!!

Guys, I see that not only myself..but a few other quality cappers have had
a dismal week. Well I thought maybe I could help figure out the problem.
You see,,,I feel like I am partly to blame.
Why!!!
I lost my lucky pen!!! That't right...I lost my lucky pen. Don't say you
haven't had something that changed your luck...Where do you think the term
"Lucky Rabbits Foot" came from.
In my case I had this lucky black Pen. It was a bic. Just a cheap ole
black bic pen. When I have it in my possession, I win way more than I
lose. But like I said, I lost it. This is not the first time that I lost
it. A couple of months ago I lost it...but my wife found it in her closet.
The winning ways continued. Then I lost it again...and she found it
again..in her closet. I kept on winning. Then I got to noticing ,,
everytime I lost it...she found it in her closet. So I started watching
her to make sure she wasn't hiding it in her closet on purpose. Nope.
Everything was normal. Then I lost it again. Yep...she found it in her
closet. What the heck is going on here, I thought to myself??? Well I kept
on winning, so I didn't worry about it. Then it happened!!! I lost it yet
again. You guessed it...she when in her closet, but this time she brought
out an empty bic pen package.
Well Slade that was the last one she says.
She said that I was on a roll as long as I thought I had that magical
black bic pen. She was partly right. As long as I had a bic pen in my
possession I was winning. You see it wasn't a certain pen .... it was the
name bic that was making me win. So what did I do???
Yesterday I sent her to Office Depot to get another package of those black
bic pens...the result was a winner with Atlanta yesterday. Now things are
back to normal.
Do I handicapp just off of superstitions??
Of course not...but having lady luck on your side never hurts!
If any of you have any superstition stories..please post them. That way I
won't look like the only idiot on the board.
