can't touch me" How 'bout them Cardinals? Two hits to seven, and they
still win. This team is unbeleivable. They find ways to win I've never
seen before. I get about every game on local TV and I've never seen
anything like it. As a Cards fan, I love it, and I don't give a crap
about everyone saying we don't have a #1 pitcher, we have 3 #2's, with 12
wins each and there aren't many pitchers in either League that have more
wins than that. I'll take it, and I'll put their batting lineup against
any in history (Renteria, Pujols, Rolen, Edmonds, Walker). My thoughts
and I hope you like them.

got to interview Jack Buck...What a pro!!
I told him that the radio interview would be about 5 minutes and that we
would take a break afer about 2 minutes. When I took the break he actually
told me on the phone...."OK, that was 2 minutes and fourteen
seconds...after the 2 minute break we have 2 minutes and sixteen seconds
to finish the gig.......
Pretty cool huh!! Happy to see the Cardinals rolling.
3 inside the park HR's every season....

favorite national league team, I have to say I love following your Cards.
Its nice to see a couple former Jay's pitchers in Carpenter and Williams
doing well, but still how can you not cheer for these guys , they can all
just flat out hit, for power and average. It seems like there all a good
bunch of guys without any prima-donnas running around, just read an
article on Scott Rolen in Sports Illustrated a few weeks back and very
impressed with him as an individual. I grew up in Vancouver Canada where
the Angels AAA team was located at the time, a lot of good players like
Sammy Sosa (before they were angels affiliate) , Erstad, Glaus, Salmon,
came up through the ranks, but none were more impressive then Jimmy
Edmonds who was still putting on a show for the crowd and selling out to
make those spectacular catches back then. A guy like this becomes a fan
favorite in a hurry. And to top it all off now you guys add one of our
hometown boys from Maple Ridge B.C. in Larry Walker to bolster your
roster, this team looks solid and I really hope they win it all this
year... Good luck...
really focused on the Cards right now as fans and a the City. Got ripped
off in '85, lost '87 to the "There's no place like the Dome, no place like
the Dome" team from Minny. It's been 22 years and it hurts, especially
being up 3-1 in '96 vs. the Braves and losing the pennant. GO CARDS!!!!
