Found a old UFC Lineal Title discussion on a MMA forum and updated it(mostly copied). I think some of you will find it interesting. Lineal Champion is a fighter who at some point held the Undisputed belt in UFC but lost it outside the fight (vacated/was stripped). He holds the Lineal title until first loss and the fighter who defeated him becomes next Lineal Champion - Until his first loss. Some people when calculating who is current Lineal Champions use different restrictions like the divisions or promotions where the fight takes place. I decided to use only 2 restrictions - title starts in UFC- subsequent fights must happen in MMA/ promotion. The rest is fair play.

With no division/weight class restrictions it makes it an interesting lineage. IMO it also highlights how important high-level wrestling/grappling is in this multi-dimensional combat sport.
