im old school so I dont like. I think the game should be won by a break. Look at the isner/opelka match this year. all tie breaks. but I do agree it speeds up the game. but tennis never had a time schedule and I don't think it should be that way. I guess the logic is if you can win on a tie break on a non major then why not in a major as well. I just dont know how I feel about it yet.

I have been riding Yastremska for the last month, seems like the lines are catching up with her. The secret is out, she's young and good.
Same here, and I agree that the lines have adjusted. Ive also gotten a lot of value out of backing Kenin recently, but only after taking some lumps betting against her previously. A lot of diminutive players like her dont get the respect they deserve. Lauren Davis was another cash cow for a good period of time but she fell off the face of the earth very quickly.

The wind has certainly been a factor so far. I made a mental note when watching Van Uytvanck last week that she has an incredibly short backswing and would probably be a good wind player. I forgot all about it until I flipped the TV on to see her playing in heavy wind, and of course she would have been a good play.
