i still think fed has the upperhand out here in the desert. But not by 2-1 favorite. almost like an auto play on rafa when you can get that great of an odds and its not even against DJ
5dimes is hanging +200 right now
My buddies like Fed. Hopefully it’s a good match regardless of who wins.
BTW, nice bounce back from the tough start to the season. Pretty tough to watch Andreescu butcher match point at 5-3. Surprised she recovered, especially with cramps coming on.
I guess we get lucky with Nadal withdrawing given that he's not 100%. Of course if you have tickets to the event that sucks.
ive seen nadal and fed play at IW twice. 1st time it was a 6 hour rain delay in the semis after inser took out DJ in the first match of the day. the 2nd was when fed absolutely destroyed rafa in 1 way traffic type a match. I wasn't out here here for semi's this year but your right, big time bummer for the fans. tickets were going for good money too. haha

H82lose, have you ever read the JQAS paper on Tennis match prediction models? I'm not sure how data-fueled your picks are, but I'm interested to know if you see any value in the paper. I've found good stuff in JQAS in the past. Stephanie Ann Kovalchik is the author.

Paddy. Thanks. No I haven’t read this. I will check it out. I implement a lot of point statistics, situational match ups, similar opponents played based on my own rating bucket I put them in. Ex pusher vs counter striker etc. and off course current form and surface
Alliassime +125 over Coric
