Looking at this game in the following manner...Duke is going to win this tournament. So they will be playing three games in three days. Coach K obviously knows this. They're a young team and he will, imho, not be looking to run and gun for a full 40 minutes. I can see this game being a decent lead of 20 points + in the last 8 minutes of the game and then coach slowly pulling players out or at least slowing the pace to conserve energy for the next two days.
SDSU coach Dutcher said, and I quote, " obviously, we want to try to slow it down a bit and try to keep the score lower and shorten the game. " so the is their whole game plan. Now, can they do that effectively? Thats the question but I think its possible in the second half with coach K pulling back on the reigns some.

I didn't know those stats but I had written it off as a loss and then boom it wins. That rarely happens lol
