The B.S. continues around 1500 Pennsylvania Ave. Here's how to beat a perjury rap.

"Michael Cohen cancelled his upcoming congressional testimony on Wednesday out of concern for his family’s “safety,” alleging President Trump and Rudy Giuliani have threatened him and his relatives “as recently as this weekend.”

Hey Ron was looking for some of those old funny stories we use to share. Can you hear, TIA

This site works terrible for me I couldn't even start a new thread. It takes a couple of clicks just to get on. I know other people had problems but mine were never fixed. I emailed them once and that's it. Not emailing again I'll live with the way it works foe me.

OT--good to see you hanging around. This site seems to work a lot better for me on my PC than on any of my other devices. It also seems to work better for me using Google chrome than Internet explorer.

I'm a PC guy and I do use Chrome for a long time now. My work is done on the PC and my Ipad is pretty much taken with me to keep updated with scores at night and also listening to Vsin while I work during the day. Good to hear from you Bucky. 5 inning bettor this year well most of the time anyway. Always look forward to your posts and Threads.

Yeah, I gotta couple. Not tonite too busy with this monster basketball card. Tomorrow with the light sked. Maybe revisit the gunman who took over the sportsbook. You set a olympic record getting out of there. Also when one of your supervisors(johnny) tipped me off about a chip thief.

Here's one on your watch OT.
Crowded craptable was playing on the hook(nxt dealer). Asian guy squeezes in next to me and buys in for $50 all reds(5). The table was choppy and I'm playing greens(25). I'm chatting with OT's pit crew/checking scorepager and really not paying much attention. All of sudden a pit super(Johnny) from 2 tables over comes and whispers to me to 'watch' the Asian. Hmm, I look over to his stack and now he has a few greens. This crook was picking up my odds. Rather than make a scene for a few bucks, I asked the Asian to call over the nearby cocktail waitress. When he turned his back I grabbed my green chips back. Never said a word. The hustlers in this town are endless.

Swat escorted us to the casino cage as you were coming in to work and you went where swat either took you or told you to go. I wish we had camera phones in those days.

PS: I'm looking for those threads from a while back not going over them.

Move over Beto you are now backup to Kamala Harris. Also Mr. Faux Hispanic you might be relegated to the taxi squad if Bernie and Hillary have something to say about it.

Trump vs. Harris would make for same major fireworks come 2020. An already polarized nation would become that much more polarized if that were to happen.

In her younger days Kamala Harris was quite the looker. Now in her mid-fifties her earlier maneuvers have helped her climb the ladder. She was "dating" powerful SF mayor Willie Brown. A good move hanging with a Democrat icon 30+ years her elder. If she runs versus Trump in 2020 the sexual innuendo talk will be off the table. Both parties would gladly agree to that pregame.

There was a interesting story on 60 minutes about a older couple and the lottery last night, I hope you caught it on 1-27 the last story. A young friend of mine popped a good one on Friday night a $50 ticket for $42 dimes, to bad he did not play the digit on the lottery. I was playing 162 the whole month of December for 25/10 $75 a day. I said when the new year started I was going to stop playing the digits, sure enough on the week of my birthday week 1-7-1-13 doesn't 162 come out straight on 1-12-19 cost me $25 dimes, oh well. Will try and get your address from one of the moderators to send you a little birthday present. Stay healthy my friend!!

You know what, I cant wait to get the fuck out of new york, have a few casinos upstate , up in who knows where , gods country , willie hillbilly land...the governor of the state wants to put sports betting in those casinos , NO APP BETTING FOR THE WHOLE STATE.
Downstate casinos that have no live table games, no sportsbooks are a waste, people just go a short distance and and use the apps in jersey or their local , OTB in this state sucks , they should let you bet sports in every single one of them , open a sportsbook at yonkers raceway which will happen i think pretty soon anyway because mgm bought the place , you think they are going to not allow a sportsbook or live table games , thats nuts.

Read today about a company in canada that keeps tracks of all of your cell phone and or computer when you try to go online to make a bet , lets them know if it was denied or connected. Tells the casinos exactly where you are when connected or denied ...anyway they found out that 44 percent of those that come into new jersey come within two miles of the border...i dont know what these states are waiting for.

Blacks should be outraged at the Governor R Northham of VA. A privileged affluent white kid attending the best schools in VA and pulling shit like that. He's posing with a new 'Vette and mocking the black race in his yearbook. This egotistical elitist claims he never knew it 'cause he didn't buy the yearbook. Flip flopping stories daily. His best defensive cliche was "I have black friends".

The subject of stiffs in sports has reared it's ugly head in golf. Matt Kuchar wins the Mayakoba Classic in November for a hefty 1.3 million. He tipped his caddie 5k. Regardless of any pre-arrangement, he'll never shake the stigma. This local Mexican caddie helped him win and gets a paltry 0.38%. Kuchar thinks he did no wrong. This is an embarrassment to the PGA.

Speaking of tipping, I need some opinions...

Friends and I hit the final score on a big block pool a few weeks ago (thanks Mr. Zuerlein)...It's from a bar/restaurant on Long Island. What's the appropriate tip back to the bar on a prize of $100k? We had quite a wide range of opinions within our group. And note that the bar doesn't take a cut and pays out 100% of the entry fees.

your from new york , you gamble , you dont know what to tip , come on tommy , am kidding with you but ive been in 5000 box pools, 10000 box pools, 50 buck pools , all in the city , one out of the court house in bky , the ones ive won , the standard 10% was given back , no complaints ever.
And for fwiw , i dont think the prize amount has anything to do with the tip amount for running the pool, and the pools where the house takes its cut from the start was always 10% .

    Nice hit , good luck

Matt Kuchar apologizes for "out-of-touch and insensitive" comments, pays fill-in caddie what he requested

"While it's nice to see Ortiz getting compensated, one still has to wonder what lasting damage this caddie controversy will do to Kuchar's reputation. The popular PGA Tour pro was already heckled numerous times over it during his opening round at Riviera."

    https://www.golfdigest.com/story/matt-kuchar-apologizes-for-out-of-touch-and-insensitive-comments-pays-fill-in-caddie-what-he-requested

I think his initial response is a true revealing of his character. Peer pressure made him cave.

Drop dead Zuerlein. Injury or not, that was a chipshot field goal your team needed while a 5% chance. I needed it for an over 3.5 total fg prop.
Tommy 5-7k would be appropriate. Depending on your relationship with the joint.

Unless it was just a final score pool, I'm assuming you guys won the 3rd quarter as well. Same 3 and 3 numbers.

I asked because there was a wide range of opinions on what was an appropriate tip on 100k. Opinions ranged from 1k to 15k. I have no relationship with the bar at all (probably the only time I've been within 10 miles of it was when I went to the US Open at Bethpage), but a couple of the guys that got us in are regulars (or at least were in their younger days).

We ended up agreeing on 5k-10k, but when my friend got to the bar and talked to the owner, the guy told him "usually, the minimum tip we get is 10%, but a lot of guys give more". So, he gave them 10k. If anything, a comment like that would have made me more likely to short them on the tip. :)

I personally voted for 5k. I thought that was a nice tip, but some of the guys thought that 10-15% was much more appropriate (of course, the "regulars" there had more of a vested interest in keeping them happy).

Pretty good gig for the bar. This was their 2k pool, but they also run 1k and 5k ones. If they're really getting 10% from most, that's a nice 80k profit (plus the extra traffic into the bar).

Next year when you partner up with a few regulars, ask them to remind the bar of your generosity. Oh yeah btw ask them do we get a refund in case of a bust?
