Suppose I lived near the Memphis area with a family of 4 and decided to purchase primo NBA seats from a 2nd hand outlet a few weeks in advance. The Cavs are coming to town only once this season. My kids love Irving, Love and especially LeBron. We get there and those 3 primadonna hoopsters never even made the trip. Instead we got to watch Kay Felder, Dunleavy, and the freak Chris Anderson. I wudda blown a G-note on D-League grads and Adam Silver doesn't GAF. LeBron said he was just following his coaches orders. LOL I think we'd leave arena new Marc Gasol fans.
We can thank our super patriot Grep Popovich for starting this FU trend.

Personally, the only way id go to a nba game, and i havent been to one since Willis Reed played for the knicks , if you bought the ticket , took me out to dinner , and then id have to think about it. Thank god for the garden , prudential center and barkley center where i can bring my son to see a major college hoops game and know they will show up to play.

A sure sign that your team is having a good day...You send in the senior punter to take a snap in the victory formation so that he can get into the game. Nice job by Tulsa's coach though to get him a snap since he never took the field all day.

The last three minutes hadda lotta drama concerning O&U. Plenty of buzz in sportsbooks considering a 55-10 blowout. Some coaches wudda sent the punter in to attempt a FG. Time outs by the victim team late can be taken in many different ways. Yeah, nice gesture to take a knee.

    Comeback of the Month(verbal):

Earlier Terry Bradshaw was on record as saying Pitt HC Tomlin was a "cheerleader" rather than good coach. I personally agree, i.e. PAT decisions. When Tomlin was asked to respond after the recent Pitt surge, paraphrasing Tomlin. "When I was growing up I was a huge Dallas fan and especially Hollywood Henderson." The HH reference was the years ago quote by HH. "Terry Bradshaw couldn't spell CAT if you spotted him the C and A."

No secret networks and league officials are trying to speed up their football games. IMO, primarily in the NCAA, refs are instructed to eliminate close 1st down measurements in favor of the offense to move the chains. All done in non-crucial game altering calls. Also, most out of bounds spots are rounded off to the nearest yard marker. Let's see how this plays out with college totals down the road.

Now realize why Kiffin took the FL Atl job?........he'd be 'coachless' next year. Saban hadda nuff of his crap. Sark takes over the OC job on short notice in the title game. +7 looks delicious.

Steeler/Patriot AFC title game matches up well personnel-wise. The NE edge lies with the the home field and coaching disparity. Steeler redzone play calling atrocious. Second straight year they were bailed out by a 'flag'.

shitty news today hearing of Creighton's PG Mo's torn ACL. Kid is a major part of their current success and can't be replaced. Still plenty of talent and for them to hold on to win on the road yesterday was a good sign but down the stretch his absence will be their demise. Great season so far either way!

Tough break Newc. I saw an interview with Coach Mac and he hinted that final 4 aspirations down the drain. He said PG position would be by committee. Surprised they came through second half w/out him and beat X on the road.

You would be hard pressed to find a more blatant hold than the one Fisher put on Harrison, now normally I'm the guy who likes the refs to swallow their whistle at the end of games and let the players decide it, except when something is so obvious and blatant that the player leaves the official no choice but to blow his whistle, and Fisher gave the ref no choice, an easy and correct call to make, credit goes to Harrison for beating Fisher and forcing him into the holding penalty

Agree, no doubt a foul, especially after seeing the CBS 'iso' replay. KC's misfortune the ref saw it live and had the nerve to call it.

This guy has made himself into one of the sharpest players in the country. Tells it like it is and doesn't "kiss ass" with these faux bookmakers in LV.

A rehabbing Rory McIlroy commenting Wednesday on Tiger Woods' progress, "He's almost there." I'm trying to figure out if he meant his game or the the Senior Tour. He WD'ed yesterday in Dubai. Shame to see one of best ever going out like this. You're safe Jack.

Why is Billy Walters out on 1MILLION dollar bond? Flight risk? Kinda excessive? A state charge the judge would throw out the case on prosecutorial misconduct. Federal charges? Not a FC. Buckle up BW.

NBA Commish Adam Silver is pro-gambling for his product. How is he gonna explain the Cleveland/OKC line to the cynics and new players?

I'll correct myself for blaming Greg Popovich for starting the 'FU fans' resting routine. Actually it was Pat Riley who initiated it and was successful in South Beach with Shaq and DWade.

It's a joke and you know what it won't change the players have run this league for years. Rest they need rest. They should play twice a week and play all year this way they can rest and playoffs could last four months instead of two.

To get off topic for a second the new thing I heard they're trying in baseball's summer league and lower levels when a game goes into extra innings each team starts with a man on 2nd base. Worried about the length of games and the bullpen. How about just cutting down trips to the mound by the catchers and have the umps enforce the pitchers to throw the ball within 30 seconds and that will cut time down. They keep f****** with these games.

Always fun flipping around at 1:45am looking for something to watch before going to sleep, passing a replay of a basketball game where the score is 41-16, and knowing that this team didn't cover the -4 for you. Thanks for sending me to sleep on a happy note San Francisco...

My golf future Brandt Snedeker to win at Pebble Beach Golf Course has already been graded as a loss, seems a bit quick to me.

For my own sake, I hope you pull this one out. Got him in both of my "one and done" fantasy leagues (and both started this week). No one has Spieth in either league so not like i'd lose any ground (and Sneds was the most popular pick in both), but it would be nice to get a head start on a lot of the field. Yesterday was my wife's bday so didn't see a second of it, but sounds like he put together a second nine.

    Suggestion for March Madness:

Turn off the TV for the Selection Sunday rhetoric. Get the brackets and pay little attention to the talking head's propaganda. Remember you're the gambler here.

Politics aside, is there another "Deep Throat" in the D.C.? The financial guru just happened to find Trump's 2005 tax returns in his mailbox? LMFAO. I blew my $ on Hillary and got over it. It's time the rest of the nation does likewise. We'll all get another chance in 2020.

^^^Truly a random thought..if I were advising the Dems I would tell them to move on..this is the whole reason Bush won 04..Dems bitched and moaned in stead about FL/hanging chads/ect and before they knew it were left with a senator from Massachusetts.
