So am thinking how to combat this test with the starting pitcher , some teams in AL have a 9th batter in lineup that could just as easy be the leadoff batter , how about changing the lineup when this guy starts, I dont know if you can keep making lineups changes once everything is announced but if this guy takes away your three top batter every time he starts , change the order to have your 4th , 5th and 6th best to start the game , next inning your 1st ,2nd and 3rd batters come up ,am sure there would be all kinds of chess moves and different lineup serenos, am sure am totally not thinking this out , it just hit me at this moment.

That's good for the first two innings, but then, for the rest of the game, you have your 4,5,6, hitters getting at bats before your 1,2,3 hitters. I'm sure let's say in the 9th inning, the lineup comes around again, you want your 3 hitter up versus your 6 hitter.
