never bet soccer and dont plan on it, was just looking at lines and im a bit confused,
this is at bovada

the spread on the upcoming game is brazil -.5 +110
belgium +.5 -130

moneyline is brazil -110
belgium +275
draw +240

so the first option of the spread is the final score of game?
and the moneyline is at the end of regulation?
if u liked belgium, why would u do the spread opposed
to the moneyline?

thanks,
ace

These are both regulation only bets. The "moneyline" or 3-way option means you can bet either team, or the draw (those are the 3-ways) so if you were to take Belgium +275, it is actually the same as taking Belgium -.5. If you take Brazil or Belgium on the moneyline, you lose on the draw

Both are end of regulation at my book. Can only bet a team “To Advance” if you’re looking strictly for the team to move on.

spread is final score of the game including kicks and OT, moneyline if they tie in regulation and sick time you lose if you dont choose draw and you win only if you choose draw.
because if its a draw with spread you win, if its a draw on moneyline you lose.

the trick is to find the value or cost of that +.5 goal, and determine if it is worth it. its just like NBA you can take moneyline at +250 or the Knicks +2 at -110. which is better value.
you might find this useful for other sports of course

This is not correct. The bets he is looking at based on the lines above are all regulation only. As cpech mentioned above, there is a "Belguim To Advance" bet that takes into account overtime and penalty kicks. The others are regulation only. If the spread on the game was a pk, then you could take either team and you would push on the draw. But it would still be a regulation only bet.

It’s important to remember that when it comes to soccer wagering, the score at the end of regulation play (90 minutes plus injury time) will be used for wagering purposes. Any goals scored in extra time or penalty shootouts are not included.
you are correct on the spread, I just did not word myself correctly on that part. I am a native english speaker with very low IQ and horrible grammar, public school I assume

Because in the case of a draw, Belgium gets +.5 added to their score and your bet still wins. If you bet the moneyline, the bet on Belgium would lose in the case of a draw.
