I think casinos tied to Vegas will be the first true shops to open sports betting. The Indian casinos probably next. Parlay cards may be offered in convenience stores like lottery tickets are sold now. I do not think it will hurt offshore business who offer a lot more than just numbers and totals. The parlay cards will be with horrible odds. The states will cater to unsophisticated public.
    Just my opinion

State governments and potentially the federal government are going to want to charge a heavy cover charge for those casino companies to get in the door. the government is still the gatekeeper until legislation is passed at the state levels and then signed by a govenor. legislation does not happen quickly or easily.
Will also add that so far there have been exactly zero states keeping casinos from the door. In 100% of the cases thus far, the states are pursuing the casinos.

This Supreme Court ruling has you pumped over-the-top with optimism. Are you a member of the RAS team? You've been known to shill for them previously. I'm sure this ruling will be a positive for the tout business. Btw, you never addressed my credit issues with the states.

I'm not pumped. I live in Texas. We will be one of the last on the list but with all the professional sports teams probably hard to resist.

I am amazed at the amount of states lining up for this with no prompting by the gambling industry. If that does not get your attention, I don't know what will.

Credit issues with states? Not sure what kind of credit issues a multi-billion casino operation is going to have or what any lawmaker is going to do about it. Any state gambling market is going to be small potatoes for one of these outfits.

No need for the cleansing. I got all my answers by omission.
Btw, Danshan is sharp and cunning guy.......just not in the sportsbetting dept. I'd lay a price that he uses a proxy.

I am not sure what your question even pertain to. Credit? As in these books are going to not be able to compete with your local booking nitwit? That is highly unlikely. What was negative pool run? William Hill worried about a single state gambling market? No, not going to happen.

As I think through all the forces that are about to be brought to bear in pursuit of profit, I realize more and more what hell is about to be unleashed.

[QUOTE=R40;916212]Can you chase steam now? Don't think there is going to be any steam chasing. Listened to a couple of moron touts that talked about how they would bet -7 on the Eagles in New York and +9.5 on the Giants in Philadelphia on the same game. Yeah, right.[/QUOTeaE]

Ofc you can steam chase albeit without the size of the example you gave.Avg edge size is getting smaller, speed is mandatory alonsgide with lot of outs/network
