just curious, I heard and read a little and it sounds like it is only
about sports betting, but I was wondering if this could mean anything
to the future of online poker. Anyone think it will all become legal someday?
I don't even know whats legal or not when it comes to online poker, but I sure
miss pokerstars!!!

thanks,
ace

Online poker is legal, but only a few states have it (Nev/NJ/Del). The states only recently pooled their players to make it less of a ghost town.

So PASPA overturn does nothing for poker, other than get everyone on their horse to start passing federal sports legislation before all the states do it themselves. Once everyone realizes you need to do mobile sports betting, you'd hope theyll open their eyes with poker as well.

This decision has no direct affect on poker but it could bring some awareness to it indirectly.
