Tom DeLeone passed away this week of brain cancer. Prolly work induced illness. He was their stalwart center when they were competitive. I knew him from an in-law and we kept our distance because of occupations. Always cordial and you'd walk on thin ice if you dissed the Ohio State Buckeyes. R.I.P

    RIP
They get paid but in the end is it worth it what needs to be done to stay competitive. That's like two trains colliding 50/60 times a game. Now it's a good thing that times are changing and the game now becomes secondary to your health above the neck.

Not so sure these guys know the long term risks OT. Especially guys who play on the line where they are getting hit on every play. IMO the long term health risks far outweigh playing the sport but hey NFL will never admit that.
