Still haven't booked our rooms yet and it's been awhile since the wife and I have made it out. Bellagio still a quality place? Wife and I's anniversary and a chance to get away from the young kiddos so we are pumped to say the least.

Bellagio is great - so is the Aria if you want to be in the center of the strip.

Palazzo is our go-to. Nice rooms and on the quieter end with Wynn. Still close to the action.

My wife is italian and her ( and I ) were very impressed by the food at B & B restaurant at the Venetian.

Venetian / Palazzo is the only place we stay , rooms are the best. You will enjoy yourselves.

Venetian is my favorite. Take the gf there all the time to stroll around with gelato, grab a bite to eat at the many good dining options, etc. Grab a gondola ride if you want. Also, the new Southern joint "Yard Bird" has a chicken, watermelon, and waffles entree that is very good. Southern boy approved ;) Easy on the wallet too.

    Enjoy LV

Speaking of Italian, Carnevino is a must try

Slip the dude or gal and the front desk a 20 and it wont be a problem. He / she might also give you a coupon booklet to return the favour.

The 20 $ trick at Palazzo / Venetian is a must.

Good luck, I'm feeling jealous all ready.

Well the Pallazo was perfect and we had an absolute blast. Killer room, exceptional places to eat in both pallazzo and the venetian. Can't wait for the next visit.

I was a Shift Manager I ran the casino for 9 hours a day I started in the Horseshoe for a short and moved over to the Fremont dealing dice which was table for table back in the day. The crew of four kept all the tips we made for ourselves minus a few layoffs. The Fremont in those days was the best crap job in town with Caesar's having the best Bacc job in town we made a small fortune. Then in 1984 the Boyd group bought the Fremont and the condition was they had to buy the Stardust also and if you know some Vegas history that became "The Place" and they invented what was then the lottery when the opening numbers came out for the NFL. This was way before off-shore.

I left the Fremont as a Floor supervisor late 1989 and went to the Golden Nugget as a dealer and stayed there from 1989 -2000 in 1994 I became a pit manager and ran the Dice Pit and the High limit room with BJ and Bacc. That was before MGM, Venetian, Bellagio, Palazzo when Wynn owned it. Then 1997 I became an Assistant Shift Manager and in Jan of 2000 I became a shift Manager and moved Treasure Island and about a year later MGM bought the Wynn company and I worked at Treasure as a Shift Manager until June of 2009 and moved over as a Shift Manager at the Mirage and retired March 7, 2012. Figure I give you my resume in case someone is reading and needs a shift manager.:jk:
