Is he legit ? He won on the royals future and now the Broncos future picks.
He claims to sell his baseball picks ? Any thoughts on his regular season plays ?

    Not really.....
I went 5-1 on RSW futures and had Carolina for the NFC
Am I legit? Go check my regular season plays.

He sells a martingale chase system for baseball, claims a record of 125-3 last year. Also says he went 21-1 in football this year. So yea, he's clearly legit.

never heard of the guy, but just visited his website. Absolutely classic.

What can we do to get a pic of Ed surrounded by 10 asian hookers in the next UC Riverside game?

I first heard of him when he was featured in that same article in the NY Times with Fezzik ,Vegas Runner, RJ Bell etc -- the one with all the pictures that looked like mugshots.

His shtick is to bet a bunch of different futures, and then only show the ones that pick up positive equity while ignoring the ones that didn't. I know he bet a bunch of different MLB futures this year and also hedged his Royals bet, but all he mentions are the Royals bets, and insists he didn't hedge, even though multiple sportsbook sources have said off the record he did hedge. He didn't say a thing about his Denver futures until they beat New England, but now all his sycophants and PR hacks he pays boast about how he called it from Day 1.

The martingale MLB system was already mentioned, and yes, he lost 49% of customer bankrolls on the CFB bowls, highlighted by a 25% play on the Oklahoma ML. He released every single play on Dec 19 with no regards for market timing, and didnt even include lines with his suggested moneyline plays. (I used Bookmaker lines at time of release to grade his ML plays.) But as BCL4 mentioned, he lies and claims he only bet a few football games this year and went 21-1.

If you want an absolutely hilarious read, check this out:

    https://urcomped.com/Blog/Details/46/meet-the-sports-bettor-who-could-win-2-3-million-on-the-super-bowl

Literally everything in that article is complete BS. The idiot who wrote that article trolled me within minutes of the game ending with "hey Groovin - Vegas Dave called his shot. You just talked trash. How much does trolling pay??" Nevermind that the 3 suggested bets I tweated, including the same DEN +6 bet Dave said he made, all won LOL. Dave posted a 145k bet at the Wynn on DEN +6, but of course, he could have bet CAR -6 +106 on Pinny and set it up so that he'd only lose $2500 each way (cheap advertising since he's already paying a PR firm, and one subscription to his tout service cost more than that), so no way of knowing if he even actually risked that much on Denver.

Two of the funnier stories that illustrate what a scumbag he is. He was 86ed from Bellagio because he was caught dealing drugs (the trespass notice is online, and says he was seen passing a plastic baggie of white powder to another person) and I've heard, but haven't confirmed, he's banned from other casinos for the same reason. Yet he claims casinos ban him for winning too much LOL.

He was 86ed from Westgate for lying to a supervisor and saying one of the higher ups (presumably Jay or Ed) approved him to bet over the limit on certain futures, and whichever one of Jay or Ed it was, was away that week so the supervisor believed him. When Jay/Ed came back and found out Dave lied, they asked Dave to come in to talk about it, and Dave told them to fuck off,so they just 86ed him. Now Dave claims he was booted either because he won on the Royals, or another story he tells is that they wanted him to return some CFB futures that had picked up positive equity, and he refused and they banned him for that. Anyone who's ever bet at Westgate knows they wouldn't operate that way, and how could you possibly trust an idiot who claims this is how Westgate does business (from that hilarious URComped article in the last message)
UrComped: Do some high level sports betters like you, do they have people that will place bets for them to get around the betting limits?

Vegas Dave: No, it’s not going to work that way because if you try to up what’s called a “runner” and send him to Westgate to place a $10,000 bet they’ll say “we don’t know who you are, get a player card and we will start you off in a $100 to $300 per game and then you establish relationship, over a couple years they’ll let you move up to betting for $5,000 or $10,000 on a game. But I don’t have people that will do that week after week for two to three years just to help me out. So the sport books are smart because you have to have a relationship with them to build credibility before you can place bigger bets. So they aren’t going to let someone just go, who they don’t have the system, fire $10k to $20k a game.

Yeah, Westgate only lets strangers bet $100/$300 at first, but after a couple years, they'll let you bet $5k/$10k if you "establish credibility,' whatever the hell that means.

He was also all over the news today collecting a $965k novelty check from William Hill, and has shown screenshots of where they've let him bet $75k on MLB parlays on their app. I guess I didn't establish enough credibility with William Hill because I was booted from their app after 3 weeks of using it.

Thanks for all the info groovin... I came across his Instagram profile and all he has been talking about what his future bet with the Broncos. He sounds like a major fraud and a tool.

Grooving, I was in Vegas this weekend and got WH's app for convenience. While I am only there once a month or so, r u saying if I happen to beat them pretty good they will can me? Or is does that just happen to local players.

if you show even the slightest competence expect to see the door. or first they will just deny your bets and move the line even though its illegal

I guess the easiest way to answer that question is that even Kelly in Vegas got cut off from the app. Apparently simply "betting mostly CFB dogs" is enough to get one cut off.

I also spoke to someone recently who lasted exactly two days on the app.

Stations also has a quick hook. But then again, is that surprising with SuperBookie Manteris shadowing the in-coming?

Holy crap, that article is unreal. Tough to pick out a favorite part, but it's probably a dead heat between his comment about never chasing losses (when he sells a Martingale system) or his comment about Denver having about a 99% chance of covering the spread on Sunday (what would his optimal Kelly bet have been with that edge?).

They did something to me I never seen before. First off on Live betting during a timeout I would wait a second or two and almost every one of my bets were rejected and offered at a worst number and or price.
But this may me withdraw my money and I'll never use them again. I went to make a half-time bet and I always bet the under or just pass well this time they gave me the option of betting only the Over the Under was blacked out. I though it was a mistake 3x's I logged-out and back in and the same thing I can only bet the Over on this game.

That might just be bad coding. I've seen CRIS do the same thing on a few NBA games, where for the entire first half you can only bet one team, and it's obviously not deliberate, there's just some problem in their software coding.

Caesar's has also gotten very quick to limit in the last 5-6 months or so.

    Some updates on Vegas Dave:

He's been called out for countless deleted losing picks in addition to all his martingale shtick; lots of comments from customers on instagram and Twitter about losing picks they received that he never mentioned in his "3-0 yesterday for my customers" recaps etc. The week before the Super Bowl he posted a bunch of videos and pics of him going to the ticket window to bet the Falcons "taking the moneyline, points are for pussies" and then claimed he only bet the Falcons 1q and 1h on top of his 200,000 Super Bowl future at 150/1 or whatever and never bet them for the full game. Right.

Two of the funnier examples of his dumbassery:

Him getting busted posting "straps of 100s" with obvious 1s in there: https://twitter.com/groovinmahoovin/status/828777190653304833

Him posting fake screenshots from the Cantor app: https://twitter.com/groovinmahoovin/status/823655173226512384

In April he was indicted for misusing SSNs and claims it's the casinos getting revenge on him for winning so much money:
    https://www.reviewjournal.com/crime/courts/sports-bettor-vegas-dave-indicted-on-charges-of-misusing-social-security-numbers/

And his latest scam, he was busted selling a counterfeit basketball card:
