The computer likes the favorite with room to spare.
Last Season: 88-34 SU (.721), 52-70 ATS (.490)
This Season: 0-0 SU (.000), 0-0 ATS (.000)
Last Week: 0-0 SU (.000), 0-0 ATS (.000)
This Week: 0-0 SU (.000), 0-0 ATS (.000)
PAST RECORDS
Thursday, September 3
ARIZONA (-32) by 35.22 over Utsa - This is a battle, or lack thereof, between the computer's 25th-ranked Wildcats and 127th-ranked Roadrunners. Arizona is a contender for the PAC-12 South while UTSA is projected to go winless and find itself in the cellar of the West division in CUSA.

Ohio (-10) by 21.45 over IDAHO - The Vandals open the season ranked 123rd in the Congrove Computer Rankings while Ohio ranks 50th. Idaho has finished the last 3 seasons ranked between 122nd and 126th.

UTAH (-4.5) by 11.91 over Michigan It will be interesting to see how Michigan will perform in its first game under head coach Jim Harbaugh, but keep in mind that his first two Stanford teams were a combined 9-15. Utah is picked to go 7-5 against what the computer says is the nation's toughest schedule. Michigan is also picked to finish 7-5 versus the nation's 16th-hardest slate. The Utes won last year's game at Ann Arbor 26-10.

Saturday, September 5
Alabama (-9.5) by 11.67 over Wisconsin (at Arlington) - Wisconsin has never lost to Alabama. That's a true statement as the Badgers won the only other meeting in 1928 by a score of 15-0. This is the debut of head coach Paul Chryst as the former Wisconsin offensive coordinator returns to Madison after 3 years as the head coach at Pittsburgh. 'Bama is a projected final four team.

Old Dominion (-7) by 11.07 over EASTERN MICHIGAN - Eastern Michigan has been one of the most woeful programs in the FBS for a very long time. The Eagles have never finished a season ranked higher than 61st since the inception of the Congrove Computer Rankings in 1993. EMU has ranked 100th or worse 11 times, including 6 of the last 7 seasons. Eastern Michigan ranks 125th this year while ODU ranks 94th.

N.C. STATE (-25) by 27.93 over Troy - Troy has a new head coach for the first time since 1991 when Larry Blakeney took the reins. Blakeney retired after last season with a career record of 178-113-1. But the Trojans had taken significant steps backward in Blakeney's last 4 seasons and now must adjust to former assistant Neal Brown who most recently served as the offensive coordinator for Kentucky. Troy is picked to finish next-to-last in the Sun Belt while the Wolfpack are poised to challenge Florida State for the ACC Atlantic title. This could be 25-0 well before halftime.

NORTHERN ILLINOIS (-20.5) by 35.25 over Unlv - This is the debut of UNLV head coach Tony Sanchez who was hired away from Bishop Gorman High School in Las Vegas where he led that program to 6 straight state championships. But while Sanchez was having a lot of success with a high school program, NIU spent those 6 seasons capturing 5 MAC West division titles after finishing 2nd in 2009.

NOTRE DAME (-8.5) by 19.20 over Texas - Charlie Strong said after last season that we'll never see another Texas team finish an embarrassing 6-7. Well, the computer has the Longhorns going 4-8 in 2015 while Notre Dame is expected to go 11-1.

UCLA (-17) by 28.70 over Virginia - This might be the lock of the week, if I were to ever designate such a thing. It's not a stretch to say that Virginia may be outmanned at every position, and though the Cavs only lost by 8 in Charlottesville a year ago (28-20), this could be a blood bath.

Monday, September 7
Ohio State (-14) by 16.11 over VIRGINIA TECH - Virginia Tech will likely be a much better team this year so it might be strange for me to take this game after the Hokies won in Columbus last year and are the last team to have beaten the defending national champions. But I think it's safe to say that Ohio State will be on a mission and Urban Meyer likely learned a few lessons about how to game plan against Bud Foster's attacking defense.

I like Utah and Northern Illinois the most out of those. Thinking about a Notre Dame play as well. Opposite on Ohio State game.
