Update: Fezzik Bet Like a Pro tracking by ComptrBob
    http://pregame.com/pregame-forums/f/14/p/1276577/2405032.aspx#2405032

I see an 0-6 yesterday-- I assume that's an aberration as we all know Fezzik is one of the best ever. Just ask him.

Something to note: Fezzik inherited +26.01u record pre-tracking. So with this update, he's at -6.85u with ComptrBob tracking.

I see 0 for 6 yesterday. I have to assume that's an aberration as we all know Fezzik is one of the best. Just ask him.

If Bob wasn't tracking him, I wonder how that 0-6 would have been graded, I have a feeling a couple of those plays would have magically disappeared

Sportsbook.ag has always been really slow, and has treated some pro action unjustly in the past, but that is much different than outright stiffing or being insolvent. I'm guessing there are some people who still find it +EV to play there.

Everyone should find it +EV to play there

    Offshore betting is dead, right?
    http://www.therxforum.com/showthread.php?t=1024607
So in 2005 I took a payout at good ol pinny to neteller for 20k in less than an hour.

Fast forward 10 years and the "A+" 5dimes book you have to stand on your head to get a nickle sent. Litterally the most they can send p2p right now is 500. Really?? Then if you request a check you gotta hope it cashes and hope your bank doesnt flag it.

But wait they can pay you in Amazon gift cards hahaha fuk outta here with that BS give me my cash like I sent!

Will it ever be like 2005 again?

Man admits bringing millions in counterfeit chips to poker tournament, flushing them in toilet
    http://www.foxnews.com/us/2015/08/13/man-admits-bringing-millions-in-counterfeit-chips-to-poker-tournament-flushing/
ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – A North Carolina man has admitted bringing millions of dollars in counterfeit poker chips to use in an Atlantic City casino's poker tournament. The scheme was uncovered after the man clogged a pipe by flushing the chips down the toilet in his hotel room.

Prosecutors say 43-year-old Christian Lusardi of Fayetteville, North Carolina, pleaded guilty Thursday to trademark counterfeiting and criminal mischief.

Officials believe he tried to flush the chips because he feared the scheme would be exposed.

Under terms of a plea agreement, Lusardi will be sentenced to five years in prison.

He will be required to pay the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa $463,540 for the revenue it lost when it canceled the 2014 tournament after discovering the fake chips. He'll also owe Harrah's Casino Hotel $9,455 for damaging the pipes.

Snoop Dogg's son quits UCLA football
    http://www.scout.com/college/ucla/story/1574224-alert-cordell-broadus-quits-ucla-football
Cordell Broadus, the son of rapper Snoop Dogg, has decided to hang up his football cleats, according to sources.

Broadus, who was a four-star receiver prospect from Las Vegas (Nev.) Bishop Gorman and would have been an incoming freshman, hadn’t reported to UCLA’s fall camp in San Bernardino, which started Monday. According to sources, he hadn’t contacted UCLA since camp started.

He is admitted to UCLA, and attended UCLA’s summer session, so he’ll be able to remain enrolled and attend UCLA.

According to sources close to the situation, it was more than likely a matter of Broadus "wanting to do his own thing," since his father had always pushed him to play football.

This is, of course, the second son-of-a-rapper issue for UCLA in the last several months. P. Diddy’s son, Justin Combs, is a sophomore defensive back on the team, and P. Diddy had an altercation with the UCLA strength and conditioning coach, but charges weren’t pursued by the LA District’s Attorney’s office. Combs is still on the team and participating in fall camp.

I have no problem with throwing the game, to find a way to dump the powerhouse team and give your team the best chance by far to advance.

I do know that 99.9% of the world would have an issue with asking kids to for all intensive purposes play to lose (bunt every time) and would have to decide as coach what I'm willing to do in order to help us advance.

I probably would throw my worst pitcher, start backups and play them the majority of the game (maximum allowed). I wouldn't ask them to all bunt or swing at balls in the dirt in order to get outs. We'd play to win and I would cripple them the best way I could.

Endn goal - I'd attempt to get the best result possible for my team without ending up on the cover of deadspin/CNN/Washington Post .

Welcome Tortuga, it will be interesting to see how Fezz does now that he's being tracked by ComputrBob. One thing I don't agree with is the part about including his lifetime record of BLAP. Since no one knows how accurate his previous records are, I think Fezz should start fresh and only count the plays CB gets, but at least going forward there shouldn't be any issue.

I was asked why I hadn't commented on this yet, figured that everyone already knew BLAP was a scam when Johnny Detroit and Jeff Scott Sports were tracking it, but one point not addressed is that even the CB tracked plays aren't verifiable, because a lot of the plays are props where the lines aren't archived anywhere. The two props Bob reported lines on, Fezzik graded at -115 and when Bob checked ten minutes after the release were -135 and -155 respectively. No way of knowing whether his MLB customers moved those prop lines (you can move a prop line with as little as $250) or whether the lines were bogus in the first place.

I've only seen him release one of these props "live." He posted a free play to EOG, a RHE prop less than a minute before a game started, claiming a line from the Greek. He then said to use a line from 5Dimes, claiming that 5Dimes had that line when he posted. But both the Greek and 5D took down that particular prop 5 minutes before the scheduled first pitch. So neither book even had that prop available when he posted, let alone at the price he claimed. If he's not claiming legit lines on plays he's posting publicly and doesn't even know that both books had the prop OTB, how can we trust the lines on stuff that no one can verify?

Caesers reportedly to settle money laundering charges
Casino owner Caesars Entertainment Corp will pay $20 million to settle criminal charges over anti-money laundering lapses and will enter into a deferred prosecution agreement with the U.S. Justice Department, Reuters reported on Sunday. The penalty, which is imminent Reuters says, will cover both the Justice Department’s criminal charges and parallel civil allegations by the U.S. Treasury Department’s Financial Crimes Enforcement Network. The report says the company’s primary operation property, Caesars Palace casino in Las Vegas, “failed to properly police its sports book activity for wagers placed by illegal betting rings.” A spokewoman for Caesars declined comment.

'eBay meets Facebook in Las Vegas': The fascinating story of Betcha.com
Betcha.com was born June 8, 2007. The website went dark a month later, but its legacy lives on.

"Betcha.com was eBay meets Facebook in Las Vegas," said Nick Jenkins, Betcha's founder.

"It was a person-to-person betting platform where bettors could bet on anything and everything for any amount and with any odds," Jenkins told ESPN Chalk in a recent interview. "So long as a bettor could find an opponent to take his action, the only limit was one of imagination."

MERCEDES-BENZ STADIUM UNVEILED AS ATLANTA FALCONS' NEXT HOME
Johnson’s design team used a series of “what if” cards—“What if seats shook during a hard hit?” to “What if player holograms welcomed fans to the stadium?”—while brainstorming. One idea that made the cut was to reference the Falcons's logo in the stadium's design, hence the winglike exterior sections.

Preseason ACL Injuries Can Be Drastically Reduced. Here's How
Jordy Nelson's ACL tear didn't have to happen. Neither did Kelvin Benjamin's. Or Orlando Scandrick's: A non-contact injury, just like the others. Many of the other ACL tears, hamstring pulls and soft-tissue injuries that have plagued this preseason did not have to happen.

Sure, some injuries will always, inevitably occur. But the number of non-contact, soft-tissue injuries could easily be cut in half, or even further reduced.

"You can reduce risk [of non-contact ACL injuries in the NFL] somewhere between 50 and 70 percent," according to Dr. Timothy Hewett, director of biomechanics and sports medicine research at the Mayo Clinic, who has researched knee injuries for over 20 years.
