It only looks that way at the present. Give the guy a little time to change and to re-invent himself maybe he can and maybe he can't but lets not bury him just yet. Milw hurt this guy and I've said it before after 6 straight year of 200 innings in todays baseball you start a slide his started last year. He's been around since 2001 and has thrown almost 3000 pitches how about we give the big man a chance to change his style and add a couple of more good years.

EDIT: Finally the Mets show a little life and all of a sudden world champs. Long way to go.

OT - im an admitted mets homer, but the city is changing the year. Much more buzz around the Metsies than your Yankees. I believe SNY viewership is up 47% also while whatever station tha Yankees is on is down 13%. Same correlation with ticket prices also. Mets are fun, young and exciting. The Yankees are Aroid.

I just want the Mets to win 30 games before the Yankees then the city could cheer the two 500 clubs to there hearts content and see who can break the 81 mark. I wish the Mets luck I hope things work out for them they haven't been relevant in a long time. The Yankees are finally realizing that 40 year old over paid guys that have been done but no one told them yet is not the way. The Boss's days are gone just like the boss but he was the greatest and took New York for years I loved the guy I remember the bad days so I mean it when I say I wish the Mets Luck the City needs a team that contends for titles. it's all about building (I Hope) for the Yankees in the future. Bernie, Jeter, Posada and Pettitte are all gone and it's time to build.

Root for the Rangers it's been a long time since the City had a champion.

    PS: Tonight +140 Go Mets

So now after the Phillies beat the Mets I'm one game behind in my race to 30 against the Yanks. I have this feeling by June 1st the Mets have an excellent chance to be below 500.

I gotta feeling this thread might get ugly. W2W might have to forego the CAPS and scream out by upping the fonts. The ghost of Elio Chacon still haunts the infield.
