The numbers seem to show a lot of parity. 67 and 68.5 are the only two in the 60's and 91 and 93 are the only two in the 90's. Could be making more to this then it is. Remember quick glance and haven't even looked at the trades free agents last years records who's coming back from surgery. Anybody seeing that I'm making to much of this off the top.

I was hoping the White Sox would have been a little lower a nice sleeper and have them at 34/1 to win it all. Detroit is done First look Under 86.5 Under Royals just a hunch that bullpen doesn't preform like last year. Everything stated here subject to change. Not going to bet 3 teams in the same division just throwing stuff out there.

I noticed the bunched up prices and parity came to me also. They're smart though. How else r u gonna open up a future book on the blind? At first glance I see some value in Houston over 73 large.

Haven't even begun to think about Baseball yet, but one future I'm definitely playing is Cincinnati under

I think the Reds are in for a down year OT, first off they're in the most competitive division in Baseball imo. I have a feeling as the season progresses they'll find themselves out of playoff contention and will be big time sellers. Cueto is gone for sure, Phillips, Leake, and don't be surprised if Chapman and Bruce get traded as well. The huge contracts they gave Votto and Bailey hurt a small market team, limiting them as far as moves they can make. They have some nice pieces in the minors, and by trading some of their guys it will give them a very strong farm system. I hope I'm wrong and they can challenge this year, but I honestly don't see it. In fact if I had to guess right now, I'd say they finish in last, even behind the Cubs. I do think they have a bright future going forward, with a core of Votto, Frazier, Mesarocco, and maybe Billy Hamilton if he can get on base enough, plus whatever Jocketty gets back after unloading some of his starters, Cueto alone should net him a nice return, I just think this year won't be much fun for me, but like I said I'm excited for what the future holds for them, there has to be a lot of things go right for them to finish .500 and I just don't see it happening.

Kane, I do agree with what your saying but as always wish your team luck and hopefully it plays out for them in the future. I found my long-shot in the AL with the White Sox and may take a shot with Arizona in the NL. I like betting small futures one from each league in a division I feel is weak. The NL West isn't the weakest anymore in the NL I believe that now belongs to the NL East or at the very least they're on equal ground.

There was expectations for Arizona last year and it just didn't happen and I like coming back to teams the following year in that situation much like the Angels last year who were suppose to contend in 2013 died that year and then went on to an excellent 2014. Don't expect to hit these although hitting San Fran was sweet but do like to be in contention with a big number. Just rolling over the cash I'll collect from the Over Golden St regular season wins and Under the Cav's regular season win total. Lets not mention the Over the Heat and Minn which both should find the trash can. Anyway good luck today and I'm starting the day with GW -1 +102

    Baseball be talking to you.

OT, I just noticed you played a future on the White Sox, I did the same, I'm getting a good price I think, 40-1. I like some of the moves they made this off-season, and I think they could be a surprise team, two other teams I took were the Red Sox and Mariners both at 20-1

nice prices. Red Sox and Seattle should be right there.

Typically I don't play three futures from the same league, but the numbers I got on the Red Sox and M's were to good for me to pass up. Two teams I'm looking at in the NL are the Marlins and Padres, both of them won the off-season, not that that means anything, but both clubs should be vastly improved from last year, I think the Pads have a shot at winning their division, and while it will be tough for the Marlins competing with the Nats, I love the moves they made, and if they're in contention, the projection on Jose Fernandez is they expect him back somewhere between the middle of June and the middle of July, so if they're in the playoff race it's like adding an ace without giving anything up. The season can't come soon enough, I feel giddy just thinking about it, always love talking bases with you OT, and GL with GW

I like the Mets over 81 wins. The Mets had 79 wins last year and their offense was abysmal. Grandy hit .220, Wright battled injuries all year, they got nothing from the SS position, d'Arnaud was sent down, and they had a committee of minor leagers playing left field. Legaras has another year under his belt after hitting .280 last year, I have to believe Grandy will be better, and they add Cuddyer in the outfield. Wright is a question mark, but he can't be any worse, and Flores is going to hit more that Tejada. d'Arnaud seemed to figure a few things out in the minors, and turned it around in the 2nd half.
The Mets are going to get 40 more starts out of Harvey and deGrom than they did last year, that's huge. They go 8 deep with Gee, Synd and Montero, and with pitchers going on the D.L. all the time, will probably need everyone. Parnell back as well after missing last season.

I mean if they can win 79 last year, don't see why they can't play at least .500 ball again this year, with an improved offense and two horses taking the mound every 5th day. I think Philly and the Braves are mediocre at best, and Miami, although improved, don't get Fernandez back until mid season.

I agree with you Jammer, I'm high on the Mets this year, I love their young pitching, not so sure about their offense, I'm not a fan of the Grandy man, but Murphy is solid, I've always liked him, and we'll see if Duda can replicate his power numbers from last year, and they'll need big years from Wright and Cuddyer but as long as you can pitch, you always have a chance and their rotation has a chance to be outstanding, and in their division the Phillies should be bad, especially if they trade Hamels and the Braves appear to have taken a step back, they're a top notch organization, but on paper this doesn't look a typical Braves team. I think it's between the Mets and Marlins for second place. I plan on taking the Mets often this year as a dog, like I said, if you can pitch you give yourself a chance to be in every game. I know the old saying you can never have enough pitching, but they could move one of their guys to upgrade their offense if needed.

"Sometimes it’s hard for people to imagine the Mets actually being good. Trust me, I get it. But the Mets are like cicadas. Every 10-15 years, they come back from the dead to cause some havoc before delving into pure dumpster fire mode again. The latest brood is ready, folks. Let’s fucking do this." - Stolen from somewhere on the inter webs, but so true. Maybe this is our year Mets fans.

Am not so sure you can count on harvey 100%, historically ,those coming back from TJ don't do so well in first year, he is far from avg pitcher coming back but still after a year off its going to be a grind for him.

    ot thanks for posting .

Hey Jets ur 100% spot on and I was going to post that yesterday just got lazy. Good catch on your part. Go over all the pitchers who had TJ surgery and the effects don't start to show until the very end of the next season. He'll be at his best or better in 2016. He's not going to be bad this year but don't expect to see the real Harvey.

I just Bet Philly for a larger bet then I usually do on these type of plays. I think there's a buy back at some point if I feel the need and think it's worth it . I believe books adjusted that line thinking Hamels won't be around much possibly won't make April and if you look at there scheduke in April till mid May this is a team that IMO is going to have a very rough time winning 12 games. Under 68.5 -110 looks like a gift but as they say beware of things that look easy.

Hey OT, and the rest of you baseball gurus--- what do you think about the speed-up-the game rule changes? Thank God we won't have to watch every hitter take a stroll around the park between pitches-- while looking at his bat like he's never seen a piece of wood before.
