It was against my Yankees and Mel Allen called it. Don't mess with Yankee Trivia. I'l let someone else answer that. It gave the Pitt a 2 run lead until the Yankees tied it and them BOOM.

Here is a great cross-generational trivia question...Name the 2 pitchers that gave up a hit to both Derek Jeter and Carl Yastrzemski.

Had a beer at the bar in the international Hotel the one across the street from Kennedy Airport. So long ago I think that was the name. They were doing a show and I was in buying and selling baseball stuff. Tommy Hendrick, Hank Bauer,The Moose, so long ago there were 5 and I have pictures and there autographs inside sorry can't remember the other two but Tommy Hendrick was telling Billy Martin stories and really had you peeing your pants. That's when all ballplayers were people and Tommy seen me sitting a stool away and pulled me in on the 30 minute break they had.

I did meet Lebron James at my Nephews wedding in Michigan in a fancy hotel in the burbs and Miami was playing Detroit and he was staying there or at least he was the only one I seen while we were having drinks in this open area which you had to walk through to get outside. He stopped and was very pleasant and a real gentleman so say what you want about him I'll always be a fan of his.

EDIT: Ronbets knows I've had drinks and talks with 1000's of ballplayers over the years in the casino business some assholes and some really great guys. Arron Rogers started out really cool then quickly became an ass-hole

Yea I'll tell of some but right off the top there was no classier group then the old Atlanta Braves pitching staff with John Smotz leading the way.
The Charger linebackers from a few years back along with Jamal Williams (Nose Guard) and SP and Coop and the one who also was with them and I believe it was his Rookie year the running back Hightower with the Dregs. Cool dude. The Arizona backfield in those days were also cool guys.

I remember when the first night of there visit they would call the day before and come in and go right to the cage to get an 3-5k in$1 bills so they could make in rain in the club that night Lots of good times from the early 90's to the mid 2000's from the Nugget to T.I. to then the Mirage. It's also true most was done on credit and paid of course because there accountants would keep a close eye on the cash and the stories they had to tell to pay there markers were funny. But it's sad Coop is broke and working as a club bouncer in San Diego. who knows about box of rocks Merriman. SP was the smartest with his cash and Jamal Williams also but I lost touch with him. Respectful men and brought up to be respectful towards people know matter how much you had.

EDIT: Remind me to tell you a story what I did for the Maloofs and there girls one night at T.I.
It's poker time talk to you later.

Elroy Face. Can you envision a reliever with 18 wins. His pitch was the forkball. I loved throwing that pitch.

**Petti, you mentioned catcher Sherm Lollar. He was so slow that atleast twice in his career he was thrown out at first base by the right fielder.
